Monthly care plan for Laravel, Go and Python apps
A fixed monthly plan that keeps your app patched, backed up and checked, with a monthly restore test, a short report and hours for small changes. It’s for small SaaS teams and founders without an ops person. From $195 a month, minimum 3 months. Working hours only, no 24/7. Email me to check fit.

Who this is for.
A good fit if
- Apps I built or set up, or apps on a stack I support
- Founders who want someone responsible for updates and backups
- Agencies needing white-label care for client apps
Common triggers
- A project just launched and nobody owns maintenance
- Security updates keep slipping
- You found out your backups had stopped
Not a fit if
- You need 24/7 cover, on-call or an SLA
- You need more than about 12 hours a month (consider a project or Tech Lead)
- It’s a WordPress site needing plugin or theme work
What I do, and what you get.
What I do
- Routine hours: apply security updates (OS packages, runtime patches, framework and dependency patches), check backups and run a monthly restore check, review monitoring and certificate/domain expiry, and write a short monthly report
- Change hours: small fixes, small improvements and configuration changes you request
- Reply within the plan’s response time on working days
What you get
- Monthly report: updates applied, backup and restore-check result, alerts, hours used and carried over, recommendations
- A patched, backed-up, monitored app
- An up-to-date runbook and handover notes
Your part
- Access and a named contact
- Receiving alerts first (they go to you)
- Payment by the 1st of each month; if it hasn’t arrived by the 5th, work pauses until it does
- Monitoring and backup storage accounts in your name
Included
- Security patches and minor updates
- Monthly restore check and report
- Monitoring review in working hours
- Change hours for small tasks; unused change hours roll over one month, capped at one month’s allowance
- Care Plus: one urgent fix a month, same working day if booked by 12:00 ET, up to 3 hours taken from change hours at the normal rate
Not included
- Major upgrades (for example a Laravel major version): quoted
- 24/7, nights, weekends, on-call or an SLA
- New features larger than the change hours
- Work beyond your hours without your OK
- Hosting and third-party fees
- Content entry and design
Fixed prices, agreed before work starts.
3 h a month (1.5 routine + 1.5 change): patches, restore check, report, small changes
7 h a month (2 routine + 5 change): Essentials plus more change hours
12 h a month (3 routine + 9 change): Standard plus one urgent fix a month

Prices are in USD, paid by bank transfer against an invoice. Work under $1,000 is paid upfront; larger work is 50% to start and 50% before handover, or monthly milestones. How working together works
Variations
- App I built
- Starts straight away.
- App I didn’t build
- Starts with a one-time onboarding review, $195 ($150 founding); if backups or monitoring are missing, Backup & DR or Monitoring setup comes first.
- Split setups
- Usually Standard or Plus, because the routine work doubles.
How it runs.

What does “response” mean?
I reply and start triage; it isn’t a fix time. “Same working day” applies to requests received by 12:00 ET.
What if something breaks at night?
Your alerts reach you; I pick it up the next working day.
Do unused hours carry over?
Change hours, for one month, capped at one month’s allowance. Routine hours don’t.
What happens when the hours run out?
Further work waits for next month, or you add an Hours Block, or I quote it as a small project. Nothing is billed without your OK.
Are major upgrades included?
No; they’re quoted, and you can use change hours toward them.
Can I change tiers, pause or cancel?
You can change tiers from the next month. After the 3-month minimum, cancel with 30 days’ written notice and rejoin when there’s a slot. Paid months aren’t refunded.
Ask about Monthly Care Plan.
Tell me what you have and where it hurts. I reply within one US business day with either a fixed quote or the entry step that makes a fixed quote possible.
Helpful to include
- App and stack versions
- Hosting and number of servers
- Who built it
- Current backups and monitoring
- Typical monthly requests
- Preferred tier

Prepaid Hours Block
Buy a block of 5, 10 or 20 hours and use them for small fixes, changes and questions on Laravel, Go or Python apps, without a monthly commitment. From $325 for 5 hours, valid 90 days. You’ll see a running balance after every task. Email me with what you’d use them for.
Fractional Tech Lead
I own your product’s technical direction a few hours a month: architecture decisions, code reviews, release sign-off and a weekly call. It’s for non-technical founders and small dev teams who need senior judgment, not a full-time CTO. From $480 a month for 6 hours, minimum 3 months. Email me to check fit.
